Walk in your own HEELS

Before getting to the person I am now, I had to experience more than my share of situations that helped to build me to who I AM TODAY. From being sexually assaulted as a child, to being in a toxic relationship as a teenager, to delaying college after my freshman year because I became a teenage mom. With every obstacle in front of me I had to cut the cord and I had to do it before it took my life. You cannot have the things you want in life to truly make you happy until you heal...and heal the right way. When you truly heal you gain a whole new confidence and learn to be happy for others while being happy for yourself.

I always tell the ladies I speak with to OWN your own HEELS...You don't know what the lady your looking at had to go through to get those HEELS! Are you bold enough to take that life? What if she was rape? or lost her ovaries? or she's broken inside? Is that the life you want?

The HEELS that changed my life forever...

Listen to this...Try it if you like!

As little girl, I sat there in shame and humiliation for I did not understand what just happened. The person who was to be watching me and loving me took advantage of me. In life as I got older I learned the things that were done to me was not my fault and indeed was inappropriate and would lead to the main reasons for my depression and lack of confidence at an early age. Fast forward to now...I am a amazing WOMAN OF GOD, WIFE, MOM & ENTREPRENEUR! The road wasn't easy and often times I tell people they couldn't have survived what I did for the HEELS I wear now but I've learned we all have our journey and somebody else's story matters too.

What are the HEELS you ask?

Here they are...

Healing your open wounds

Take time to list out your wounds the things that caused you the most harm. The situations that made you change. The situations that still make you feel a certain type of way. Remember it's not your fault and you will get through whatever it is.

Educating yourself

Get you a coach, a therapist, a book, a journal whatever you need to help start this process that may take time but will be worth the wait.

Enjoying life

Every moment you can take time for yourself. Read a book. Grab some ice-cream. Take a trip.

Learning everyday

Every day will be a new experience to learn who you are without the wounds that have token over all these years. It's okay to be in this stage and love every moment too.

Seizing the moment

Don't miss it! The moment..the second..the hour! Every moment is precious and now that you are taking the necessary steps to properly heal you can and you will...

I pray this helped you. I want to leave you with a few words to remind you of who you are...

1-Let your light shine! Matthew 5:16 KJV

Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven.

Using your platform to spread God love and word will

2-Be confident

He is your confidence- Proverbs 3:26 KJV

For the Lord shall be thy confidence and will keep thy foot. From being taken.

3-Your future is planned by God

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart.

Today give your future to God he already owns it anyway...
